Artwork and Files
What file format should I submit my artwork in?
We accept PNG and PDF files at a minimum of 300DPI in RGB colour mode. After checkout, you will receive a link to our artwork submmission tool. Use the template to size and position your design before submitting.
What is the template tool and how do I use it?
The template tool is a site that allows you to upload your artwork/image, size and scale it to the exact print dimensions for your product. You can then download the correctly sized PNG at 300DPI for submitting. You can also view your artwork artwork on the case. All images uploaded to this tool stay locally on your device.
How can I check my image DPI?
The easiest way depends on your device:
- Mac: open the file in Preview, then go to Tools > Show Inspector. Check the i tab and look for image DPI.
- Windows: right click the file, select Properties, go to the Details tab, and look for Horizontal resolution.
- Photoshop: go to Image >Image Size. Make sure Resample is unticked, then check the resolution field.
- Canva: Canva does not display DPI directly. Download your design as PDF(Print) for the best quality, or as a PNG at the largest size available.
Does my design need to be in CMYK?
Our printer works great from RGB files. the prints are vibrant and close to what you see on the screen. If you submit a CMYK file we can still print it but there is no need to convert your RGB files to CMYK.
Can I submit a photo rather than artwork?
Yes. A modern smartphone photo works well, as long as you submit the original file rather than a screenshot or heavily compressed image. The file should be at least 2MB in size. Use the tempate to check how your photo fills the print area before submitting, as portrait photos may be off center due to covering the magnetic tab on the cases.
Does Terrion print any artwork?
We reserve the right to decline any any order at our discretion. We will not print content that is racist, discriminatory, hateful or offensive, AI generated, content that infringes copyright or trademark, explicit adult content photos, or anything that is unlawful. If your order is declined on these grounds, your order will be cancelled and refunded in full. If you are unsure whether artwork is suitable, please contact us before ordering.
Orders and Process
What happens after I join the membership?
You will login to your account and get access to wholesale discounts, the template tool and more.
Can I connect my website/Etsy shop to your site?
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the ability to connect your website or Etsy shop to our website. It's something we are looking into and hope to implement in the future.
How can I do print on demand orders if I can't connect my website/Etsy?
You will set up a listing on your website/Etsy shop, set your pricing and shipping rates based on the pricing and shipping rates we provide for shipping from our studio in the UK. When you have received an order, you then place an order on our site, providing the address of your customer so we can ship the case directly to them.
What happens after I place my order?
After checkout, you will receive a link to our artwork template tool and submission form. Submit your artwork that you download from the template tool. Artwork must be received within 7 days of your order date. If we do not receive artwork within that window, your order may be cancelled and refunded.
Am I able to place large orders?
For orders above 20, please email hello@terrionprintstudio.com for a quote before placing your order. We will confirm lead times and the best shipping option for the quantity you need.

Please note we may not stock all these models in each case style. If there is a specific model or case style we don't have that you would like please email us.
Are all magnetic covers compatible with all cases?
Covers are compatible by device model. A Paperwhite 2022/2024 cover fits a Paperwhite 2022/2024 case. Make sure you select the correct model when ordering additional covers.
Will you be adding other models and products?
We plan to expand our range of models and products over time. If there is something you would like us to carry please let us know. Sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know when new products launch.
Shipping and Processing Times
How long does shipping take?
Up to date shipping times are available on the private membership page. Shipping times are calculated from the date the order has been dispatched.
UK: orders are usually shipped with Tracked 48
International: orders are shipped standard tracked, times will vary depending on country shipped to. Please check on the mebership page for the most up-to-date information.
Please note that delays caused by customs, seasonal festivities, couriers, or other external factors are beyond our control.
I submitted my artwork, what happens next?
We will review your artwork within 1 to 2 business days. If it meets our requirements it will move into production. We aim production to take 1-2 days, but please check for live updates on our homepage as production times can vary during busy periods. You will receive a dispatch notification when your order ships. If there is an issue with the file, such as too low of a resolution, we will contact you by email. Production time starts from the time your artwork is received, not from the date of your order.
How much does shipping cost?
It varies depending on delivery location. Up-to-date shipping rates are available on the private membership page and emailed out to members. All orders are sent with tracking.
Can I request a rush order?
Rush orders may be possible depending on our current workload. Please email hello@terrionprintstudio.com before placing your order to check availability and shipping options.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the UK, Canada, and USA. We will soon be adding Australia and New Zealand. We are always looking at expanding our shipping to other countries, if there is one you would like us to ship to, please email us. Join our mailing list to be notified when we add new countries.
How are cases packaged?
All cases are individually packaged in a clear cellophane bag. POD orders are shipped direct to the address you have entered it be sent to, with your address as the return address, in an unbranded mailer. No Terrion branding is used for POD orders. Small batch orders are sent in boxes, with Terrion branded items.
Quality and Returns
What if my print has a defect?
We stand behind our printing. If you believe your order has arrived with a printing defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with clear photographs showing the issue. We assess each case individually and will offer a replacement or reprint where a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
My artwork looks different printed than it does on screen.
Screens display colours in light (RGB), while printing uses ink on a physical surface. Even with careful colour management, there can be slight differences in how colours appear. Submitting in RGB colour mode (as required) gives the best possible match.
If you are concerned about colour accuracy, we recommend ordering one case as a sample before committing to a larger batch. This gives you a chance to compare the printed result against your screen and make any adjustments to your artwork if needed.
Can I return or exchange?
Because every item is custom-printed to your specifc artwork, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. We will always resolve printing faults or fulfillment errors. Please ensure you check you have selected the correct model(s) when you place your order. We strongly recommend you cover this point in your store policies to ensure your customers are aware.
